The author analyzes relationships between «image of the world» (A.N. Leontiev) & «invariant image of the world» (A.A. Leontiev) concepts. It is argued that professional activity serves as a bases for distinguishing of invariant images of the world. The concept of professional world is introduced as the professional dimension of a person’s life world; also it’s structural components are distinguished.
